Cavalry come to the aid of Hoodwinked

We are proud to announce we are the Design and Print Partner of the Hoodwinked public art sculpture trail

We have produced the Hoodwinked sponsor pack and Hoodwinked branding and are now working on the brochure for ‘Robin’s Tales,’ the education and learning programme for City primary schools, plus many other items.

We are delighted to support a project as high profile and rewarding as Hoodwinked. As a company based in Nottingham, it’s always rewarding to give something back to the city. Hoodwinked brings exciting opportunities for businesses, as well as a brilliant trail for children and families to enjoy next year, and we look forward to seeing the Cavalry sculpture in pride of place this summer!

Councillor Dave Trimble, Nottingham City Council’s Portfolio Holder for Leisure and Culture, said:

“Thank you to Cavalry for using their creative skills and experience to produce a portfolio of eye-catching material to publicise the Hoodwinked trail. It’s brilliant that a local company are getting involved in this way and we appreciate all the commitment they are giving to the event.”

Hoodwinked is led by Nottingham City Council in partnership with Wild in Art, a leading creative producer of spectacular free public art events through the creation of uniquely-painted sculptures. The trail of around 30 sculptures will run through the city from July to September, with each sculpture sponsored by a business.

The Hoodwinked trail celebrates the legend of Robin Hood – but with a mischievous twist on the tale. The sculptures transform the outlaw into appealing robins, all based on an identical mould but each one unique, designed and painted by an artist. The sculptures will be auctioned in October 2018 to raise funds for Nottinghamshire Hospice.

Nottingham businesses who would like to sponsor a sculpture can find out more by downloading the sponsor pack or by contacting Caroline Elmhirst or Julie Walker at hoodwinked@nottinghamcity.gov.uk or on 0115 8764984/5.
